Tombstone Tuesday: Dr. Jerry Liebross

Joseph Jerome Liebross was the seventh child and fourth son of Louis and Bertha Liebross and was born about 1897 in Radautz, Austrian Empire (today Radauti, Romania) and came to the United States in 1898 on the Britannic from Liverpool with his mother and seven brothers and sisters. [1] His father had emigrated six months earlier. [2]

Jerry, as he was called, became a dentist. He married Sydelle (aka Sadie) Kramer on 24 November 1927. [3] They had one son, Stanford. 

Sometime after Stanford's birth, Sadie was committed to Rockland State Hospital, Orangeburg, New York, and lived there the rest of her life. She was born on 5 August 1905  in New York City and died 15 September 1987. [4]
