Celia Liebross was the sixth child and third daughter of Louis and Bertha Liebross and was born about 1894 in Radautz, Austrian Empire (today Radauti, Romania) and came to the United States in 1898 on the Britannic from Liverpool with her mother and seven brothers and sisters. [1] Her father had emigrated six months earlier. [2]

Celia never married and had no children.

She is buried in Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Queens, New York in the Workmen's Circle plot, Block WC, Section 3, Line 4, Grave 25.
